Lesson Plans: These are detailed lesson plans for teachers and educators working with grades 3-12. Organized by grade and subject, they include materials, lesson descriptions, extensions, and connections to the NWT teaching curriculum.
Activities: These activities are intended for rec coordinators, camp counselors, and teachers to use as building blocks in your programming. They range from 5 min to 2 hrs in length, and the intended audiences vary from junior kindergarten to Grade 12. Many of these activities can be adapted to suit different ages, themes, and subjects.
Resources: We know how long it can take to sift through all the amazing resources available online these days! We have done the legwork for you by putting together a selection of some of our favourite teaching resources that are relevant to life in the NWT. These are sorted by theme.
