Want a visit from Ecology North staff?
Ecology North is a not-for-profit that relies on funding to run programming, Unfortunately, due to funding limitations, we are not currently able to come into classrooms. Please browse our resources to see if you can find the info you're looking for, and we're always happy to hear from you if you have a question or are looking for advice! We can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org
Are you new to a community and a little hazy on the plants and animals of the region?
Are you wondering where your waste really goes?
Are you wanting someone to come in and demonstrate how to use the activities available on the website?
Consider having an Ecology North educator come and teach a session!
What We Offer
Themed Workshops: Ecology North can come in to deliver one of our well-loved workshops about waste, water, climate change, energy, or ecology and animals.
Tailored Classrooms Visits: Depending on staff availability, Ecology North may be able to come in to deliver a session tailored to your grade level and area of study.
Project-Specific Workshops: When we have funding to come to your community for a specific project or topic, we will get in touch to see if your school is interested in having us come in! These workshops are fully funded, so we can come at no cost to your school.
Email us at email@example.com to inquire about a classroom visit or workshop.
What's the Cost?
Ecology North is a not-for-profit organization that relies on funders for all our initiatives. Someday, we hope to be able to get funding to come to all schools free of charge, but currently, we charge schools a subsidized rate of $40/hr to cover staff time.
We are hard at work trying to upload all of our workshops and activities onto this website so that teachers who don't have the funds available to have EN staff come in can lead the activities themselves. Please check out the activities page for our favourite activities!
