Funding Opportunities
You'd be amazed by how much money is out there to fund neat environmental projects for youth, if you know where to find it! We've put together a list of funders to help you get the funding you need to get your projects things in motion. We'd be happy to help you with your application and reporting- contact us if you'd like a hand. Please note that these grants tend to be geared towards schools; if you are an NGO or other organization, we may be able to suggest additional funding sources for you!

WWF Go Wild Grants
WWF will fund just about any project that helps connect youth with nature and empowers them to become environmental stewards. Whole Kids Foundation
Bee Grant - get an observational bee hive for your school, plus $1,500 to get you started with bee equipment and resources Garden Grant - get up to $2,000 to help fund your school garden dreams. Indigo Love of Reading Foundation
Need new books to bulk out your classroom or school's science or environmental education library? This foundation will fund books for students in high-risk schools. |

#RisingYouth (TakingITGlobal)
Funds youth-led community service projects. Extremely simple application process. Has been used in the past to run events like movie nights, mural-painting, and school gardens. Please encourage your students to access these funds- the program is likely shutting down after 2019! The On the Land Collaborative
